2. What this policy covers

This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use our website, why we collect it, how we use and share it, and the choices you have.

3. Information we collect

Information you provide to us

  • Contact details and message content submitted via forms (e.g., name, email, phone, company, and anything else you type).

Information collected automatically

  • Basic, privacy-friendly website analytics (see §4), and standard technical details your browser sends (e.g., pages viewed, timestamps, referring site, browser/device type, approximate country/region).

We do not intentionally collect sensitive categories of personal information through the website.

4. Analytics (Fathom)

We use Fathom Analytics, a privacy-focused, cookieless analytics service, to understand overall website usage (e.g., which pages are popular) so we can improve the site. Fathom does not use tracking cookies. It processes limited technical data (such as IP address and user agent) to generate aggregate, de-identified statistics and does not build user profiles.

You can opt out of analytics by using browser or network-level blockers. Our site will continue to work.

5. How we use your information

  • Provide and improve the website and its features.
  • Respond to inquiries and support requests.
  • Security & abuse prevention, including detecting and preventing misuse.
  • Legal compliance, when required.

We do not sell your personal information.

6. Legal basis & consent

Under PIPEDA, we collect, use, and disclose personal information with your consent (implied when you browse the site; express when you submit a form), or as otherwise permitted/required by law. You may withdraw consent at any time, subject to legal or contractual restrictions, by contacting us (see §1).

7. How we share information

  • Service providers: We share information with trusted vendors who help us run the website (e.g., hosting, analytics). They may only use your information to provide services to us and must protect it.
  • Legal reasons: We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, or legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security.

8. International transfers

Our service providers may process information in Canada and other countries. Where applicable, we take steps designed to ensure an equivalent level of protection consistent with Canadian law.

9. Retention

We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes in this policy (e.g., to respond to your inquiry, maintain records, meet legal requirements). De-identified, aggregate analytics may be retained for trend analysis.

10. Your rights

You may request access to, or correction of, your personal information in our control. To exercise these rights, contact us (see §1). If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (OPC) or, where applicable, your provincial privacy regulator.

11. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

12. Children’s privacy

Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

13. Third-party links

Our website may link to third-party sites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new effective date. Material changes will be highlighted where appropriate.
